Emerson at Plum, formerly the Emerson Ballroom, is a premiere event venue with a rich history in Macon, Georgia. Beginning in the late 1800’s, the original building was used as a livery stable for horse and carriages. In 2014, the space was re-imagined and converted into an airy event space.
The vintage charm of the historic stable remains and is showcased with the original brick and woodwork. Additionally, the open ceiling beams, expansive floor space, and unique built-in wood bar offer a backdrop with character and history, illustrating the industrial past and lively present of Macon’s booming downtown.
With 8,000 square feet available, the spacious interior of Emerson at Plum affords ample room for the creation of virtually any event — from formal weddings to high-energy social events. The subdued historical accents make Emerson at Plum both a dramatic and flexible event space with an unlimited potential for event transformation.
The beautiful courtyard adjacent to the venue can be used as a gathering area, a ceremony location, or as an outdoor extension of a reception or meeting inside the venue. Emerson at Plum is also handicap accessible, offering easy movement throughout the one-story venue.
